Hi,
I'd currently experimenting with IOS based IPS and want to see if it's relevant for my customer. Im configuring it through Cisco Configuration Professional version 2.6 and using downloaded signature sigv5-SDM-S724.zip and the public key loaded as per all documentation suggests. As I finalise with interfaces and all setup parameters in CCP, as I deliver the config to the router I notice the error-
%IPS-3-SIG_UPDATE_REQUIRED: IOS IPS requires a signature update package to be loaded
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
Could you please load the Signature again but via CLI either using FTP or TFTP
copy ftp://
Note: Please remember to use the `idconf' parameter at the end of the copy command.
Do you see any other issue?
