Dear,

i have a ips card installed on an ASA.

The ASA version 5520 8.2(5)26

ips sensor 7.0(7)e4                  

Can you help me to understando how to identify the new signature after an signature upgrade?

I don't understand how to search the news signature to customize only the signature istalled by he signature update

The ASA are in HA, how can i synchronize the IPS configuration  on the standby unit ?

You can't synchronize IPS configuration even through you are running ASA in HA mode as the IPS module is independant to the ASA appliance.

The check what is the new signature or any changes to the latest signature updates, please check the read me file of that signature update.

In my opinion thats a MUST if you run IPS in your network.
