Hi, I'm configuring ips con my cisco router.There are several options that I really interested in activating, but I'm not sure this activation will provocate connection problems...these are the options:
Ip->Tcp Anomalies->
-frag null packet
-null packet
-frag fin packet
Can I change action from alarm to drop?
Best regards

It doesnt cause any harmIn fact .IPS signatures are dynamically updated and posted to Cisco.com on a regular basis. Thus, customers can access signatures that help protect their network from the latest known network attacks.Refer URL

HI,
I've readed your post.I've configured IPS con my 1721 cisco router and activated filters.
My signatures are a bit older.Where can I download newer signatures?Is necessary to be a cco member to download them?Im not a cco member.
Best regards
