28 button expansion module for cisco 8865 ip phone not shown

Hello,

I have a problem that we bought 28 button expansion module for 8865 IP Phone but in phone page just show in the list

BEKM 36 Button expansion module and when I choose it the exp module doesn't power up

my system version is 11.5.10000-6

I have a cucm 12 test and showed in 8865 phone page two options 36 and 28  modules

How can I solve this issue without upgrade ?

Is installing new device package can show the 28 button expansion module option ?

If you get the device package for 8865 with 28-button expansion then it
resolve the issue

u mean that latest device package for cucm will solve issue ?

8865 firmware is 12.5

As Mohamed already said, you need to apply a device pack

I have done this now several times for these new 28 button expansions

I uploaded device package on a test lab and it worked fine

I want now to apply it on a site with 1 pub and sub

but it will be applicaple on pub site only.

Should I upload it on both servers or on pub only

restart cluster must or pub only ?

Yes, apply it to all nodes. I suggest to restart clus to avoid any
mismatches

Just do what you already did in the lab. You need the device package to get the module listed and firmware to support the expansion module.
