2800 IOS upgrade to 15.1(3)

Hi,

The 2851 router has IOS 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(9)T7.

Current DRAM is 128MB & Flash is 64MB. Can i install IOS 15.1 verison without upgrading DRAM & flash.

Hi Johny,

Assuming you're going to be using the same feature set, the 2851 will require an upgrade to 512 DRAM and 128 Flash in order to support the following image:  c2800nm-advipservicesk9-mz.151-3.T.bin

You can use the Cisco Feature Navigator to determine IOS image requirements: http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/
