2921 license question

Hello guys.

I have bought a second hand 2921 router for my personal lab. The router came with only ipbase license. That means I cannot use cme and also cannot configure the router with any gateway functionality.

My question is. If I want to enable cme and voice-gateway functionality. H323 and mgcp.

What all license I need to buy ?

Need advice.

Hi

To enable Unified Communication support you need to buy these licenses:

SL-29-UC-K9 --> UC License

FL-CME --> CME License (this is free)

FL-CME-SRST-5 --> 5 Seat License for CME

You probably need to buy PVDM2 or PVDM3 DSPs to support voice calls as they do not come bundled with IPBase

the pvdm's are not required if it is a VoIP only lab. You would need the pvdm's if you plan on integrating your lab with the Pstn.

Or you can active UCK9 Evaluation License in 60 days. This time should enough to take your test lab.
