Hi There,
Has anyone ever managed to get 3Com 3101 or 3102 SIP phones working in CallManager 8.
Thanks,

Hi
No matter whichever Non-Ciscophone you trying to configure with CUCM it will follow steps mentioned at:

Stafford,
Did you manage to add 3COM 3101/3102 within your CUCM? If "yes" what did you exactly do?
Thank you.

Hi All,
As Tapan said, Procedure to add any third party SIP phone is same through out CUCM releases.
But Only below mentioned third party SIP phones are test to work with CUCM fully. So 3Com 3101 or 3102 SIP may work but with limitations.

Thank you Ronak.
I did everything and also checked the URL you provided.
Let everybody know that 3Com 3102A/B (there are two versions) will not work with any CUCM regadless of its version.
The problem is the phones are looking for NCP no matter what. There is a possibility phones to be reflashed with an illegal firmware in order to become true SIP phones but that's not part of the discussion here. I didn't do such thing, just read on Internet, so please don't ask me.
Regards,
George
