Hi Team,
We have created a DN and User account to be used to register 3CX SIP Phone with CME.
As per the attached text file where you can find DN 401 to 404 and associated user accounts from Apps1 to Apps4.
We have created a hunt group as well, where when any calls come to huntgroup, it will ring in a sequential manner to the above DN''s.
We are trying to register 3CX SIP Phone to CME based on the attached configuration, but the Phone is not getting regsitered.
Can any one assist us with commands which will allow us to register 3CX Phone with CME. Kindly do the needful urgently.
Regards,
Prasana

what the error message you getting on softphone and CME logs ?

I am getting Time out error and the 3CX softclient does not register. Do we have to add any additional SIP registrar command in the CME mentioning the PC IP address where the 3cx softclient is installed with port 5060 ?
If you can see my earlier attachment where i have exhibited all the commands which is executed in the CME. Please suggest what additional commands need to be added ?

Prasana

Are you talking about the 3CX software client or Physical phones?
If it is the software client, then I don't believe this will work as the 3CX client is not a standard SIP client like x-lite for example. There was a time from memory, a long time ago, where you could use the 3CX client, but not anymore. It is designed to only work with the 3CX PBX.
If it is a physical phone, we would need more details. The last time I checked, 3CX do not make their own phones, but support various manufactures.
Hope this helps,
Gary

Hi Gary,
Thank you for your reply. 3CX client is a standard SIP Phone and it works with many PBX's. We checked with CUCM, it worked perfectly. We are trying to register with CME in our case, to use. Would be able to check the Text file which i have attached and if anything missing.

Prasana

As suggestion, X-lite is free, have you download and test it ? and you see more logs in the x-lite and tell you what is wrong also.
i will review your config and reply later when i get chance, mean time can you test and post the results.

Sure Balaji, thank you and will wait for your updates.
Xlite works, but we want to have 3CX Soft client only, as we are planning to register as standard SIP Phone unlike Xlite.

Prasana
