 Hello, collaboration professionals!

Please, answer to my question. Where is 3PCC firmware for 7800 and 8800 series phones. Can I change firmware for existing 7800/8800 phones with CUCM firmware to 3PCC , and if I can, how to do it?

Thank you.

That is enterprise firmware. Not MPP. 10.x is not supported for MPP anymore.

Thanks.

It is still impossible to switch from CUCM firmware to 3PCC ?

Thanks

No, now it's possible to do so, but depending on your contracts, there might be an associated cost. See upgrade.cisco.com

I am late to this thread but I am trying to find out if a "migration license" is needed for my scenario.  Client has Cisco 8841 phones that are running the latest multi-platform firmware.  Client wants to try to use the phone with Microsoft Teams (only) - so the plan was to remove the device from the Cisco Webex Hub, add the MAC address to Teams, get a phone number, assign a Teams Phone and Calling plan to the user, assign the number to the user.  All went well and then after a few reboots we see the purple Teams background on the phone, but we cannot sign in.  There is a message over top of the sign in that says a migration license is required.  So my question is - to use this device with Teams (and not Webex) - does Cisco require a license?  If so, does anyone know what that license is called and how much it is?   I have read quite a few links and watched videos, but nothing has been crystal clear as to what is needed or not.

Thank you for the link but this is still not clear.  The phones are already using MPP firmware as they were on the Cisco WebEx hub.   So does this mean even though they are running MMP already, they still have to buy an upgrade license when using the device with Teams now instead?
