3rd party SIP video intercom

Does anyone have any experience with the brand KNTech or Koon Tech? I am trying to get it set up in CUCM as I would any other phone and it's not working. I have the CUCM side of things all set up, device, user, digest creds, mac address, all set up. On the KNTech side I have went into the web gui for the phone and tried to fill out the best that I can, I tried DHCP with no luck, tried putting in the server/domain address and picking a static IP with no luck. When I connect to that first switch between CUCM and the KNTech phone the switch has the mac but no IP when I try to find it by ip, even when set to static. Looking for any help or next steps that anyone can recommend.

Hi Anthony,

Did you add it as Third Party Sip advanced on CUCM?

On Kntech phone:

Server Address: Cucm IP

Server Port: 5060

Authentication User: The end user’s username 

Authentication Password: The end user’s

Sip User: Sip phone DN

Try that

I think I have all that set up correctly. I have attached a rtf with pictures of both sides (company info blacked out). The username and password for the number is 2129 so I can just set everything to that and have it work. If I cant get it working I may change it but for now I just want to get it up and calling.

Hi Anthony,

On end user side, can you please configure digest password with the same value of "Password" field?

Also, on phone config page (CUCM) select the digest user as 2129.

Okay, so this and added everything to static instead of DHCP got 2 way audio, as well as video from my cisco phone to go to the 3rd party phone, but I am getting no video from the KNTech device to send to the cisco phone. The screen on the KNTech is setup the same as cisco where I can see myself in the corner, so I know the camera is working, but something is blocking the video from the KNTech sending to the cisco device. Codec on the KNTech is below.

Preference 1: G.711 MU
Preference 2: G.711 A
Preference 3: G.729
Preference 4: G.726
Preference 5: G.723

Any advice on what may be causing that?

Was able to get into the debug for the KNTech and found these errors. Maybe CUCM is wanting H264 and this phone only allows the G.7xxx codecs?
