Internally in the same local calling search space, if you dial the person's 4 digit extension, the person calling them does not see the name of who is calling, but the receiver see it. If you call the full 10-digit extention, both sides see the caller ID information.
Any thoughts on fixing this?
We are on VoIP 8.5.

For a little more detail, we've been looking at translation patterns and connected party transformation. It was default for connected name, tried allowed, but still nothing.

Found it. Service Parameter - Always Display Original Dialed Number needs to be True; default was False.

We built a whole new cluster and migrated to it. It worked on the old system. Parameter was changed on 8.5.
