7040-60 FW upgrade - CM 4.1 to 8.5

We just upgraded CM from 4.1 to 8.5
7940 and 7960 phones has fw App Load ID P00308000500
Boot Load ID PC0303010001
Version 8.0(5.0)

per compatibility it can upgrade to P00308010100 which is 8.1.1.

I loaded files in tftp, restarted tftp and phone still no change in phone fw

i am wondering what fw should i be going to

when upgrading a specific phone what should be the load name, i have cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.cop as load name under phone

should it be cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1 ? or cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.cop

am i missing something in upgrade route ?

You will have to go for cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.cop.sgn.

•For Cisco CallManager 4.3 and earlier:

cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.exe

•For Cisco Unified CallManager 5.0(1), 5.0(2), and 5.0(3):

cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.cop

•For Cisco Unified CallManager 5.0(4) and later:

cmterm-7940-7960-sccp.8-1-1.cop.sgn
