7800 Phone not getting ip address on Brocade Switches not reachable even with Static IP

Hi,

While connecting Cisco 7800 Series Phone on the Brocade Switches, this particular model phone not getting the IP Address from the DHCP and i have tried to given static IP address as well but its not reachable. But when i connect the other all model Phones Like 9xxxx series, 8xxx series and 79xxx will be working fine on the Same Port. But when i connect on Other Switches 78XX Series Phones getting registered with CUCM and its working perfectly.

Hi Sunish,

Based on the details provided it looks to be some sort of an issue with the communication between 78XX IP phone and Brocade switch. If you have a 78XX working fine on any other Brocade switch then you can take a capture for both the scenarios and they can be compared. Did you check with Brocade for any known issues?
