7821 MPP firmware high packet discards

Hi all, so we have 7821/8865 MPP firmwares phones to be used with Zoom phone in Thailand . While we tested direct connection to the Internet and via the company network to the Zoom phone SIP exchange in Singapore, we are experiencing very high packet discards like 300 packets/min and latency of about 130 ms and jitter of 223 ms based on the phone GUI for the phone directly connected to a Thailand ADSL circuit. Note that packet drops are quite negligible. For the company network it is a bit higher due to our wan routing. I know the numbers are extremely high, resulting in broken conversations or word drops. We did this two types of connection to rule out any enterprise network or firewall issues. 

I do not know the firmware codes or buffer settings of the 7821 is, but Zoom phone pc client sees similar latencies, we do not have any audio quality issues. Even our poly C60s do not experience such issues in Thailand .

We have exactly the same setup in our office in Singapore and Malaysia where we do not experience such network related packet discards and generally quality of the voip audio is considered acceptable for the physical phones.

Not sure we can do anything else or help to improve or isolate the root cause, the user experience when having calls. Any ideas ?
