Hi team,
I have a problem with an ip phone 7821 trying to register to a cucm ver. 10
the status in cucm says rejected, but shows its correct IP address.
I been trying to register the ip phone by manual config and autoregistration, every time deleting the directory number it generates, I have a bunch of 7821 already registered, none of them gave me any problem, I also update the firmware of this model in the cucm.
I'm running out of ideas, anybody?
Thanks alot guys.

Are you able to look at the logs on the phone? They can often give you an idea of what's going on.
Have you tried deleting the security settings on the phone?

Hi
Just want to put this out there.
I had a similar issue with a 7821. It's good measure to double-check the MAC in CUCM, but also the cp model. I mistakenly did a super copy of a 7841 to this 7821 model phone. That would, not surprisingly, give you registration rejected error. I deleted and reinstalled CP and all good.
Stupid error but simple fix.
