I found the fix for this, i hadn't populated the SIP address within the SRST reference on CUCM, once that was completed my original configuration started working.

Hi,

My 7841 phones worked well with same configuration. I have two comments:

1) you  have to choose mode east which is obvious

2) for voice register pool 1

Can you specify the specific subnet which exactly matches the IP Phone subnet, and you can create multiple pools instead of using one pool with big mask.

when you say chose mode east - is that auto correct from mode esrst ? is it not possible just to use standard srst ?

Sorry for that. Yes it is esrst :)

There is no option shown  for simple srst under voice register global

Great!! How we forget to talk about it :)
