7911 not registering

7911 is registering endlesslly.

It holds on:

Have you verified the firmware directory in flash? Have you verified that you have the correct firmware, you put ".loads" I think it should be ".sbin". Verify your tftp and alias are correct.

I have download new firmware:

cmterm-7911_7906-sccp.9-3-1SR2-1.zip

I have unzipped it and copied one by one file to router flash.

Then I have restarted my 7911.

And no matter if I have:

load 7911 SCCP11.9-3-1SR2-1S

or

load 7911 SCCP11.9-3-1SR2-1S.loads

my 7911 still is registering endlessly at:

Apr 25 14:19:45.095 CDT: TFTP: Looking for United_States/g3-tones.xml

should I have this additionl tftp bindings?

Please you have to use the command under telephony-service without .loads. Then under telephony-service  no create cnf create cnf

On my 7911 in right upper corner shows 1000 while my numer configuration is:

ephone-dn  10  dual-line

type 7911

can you delete ephone 10   , and remove the phone from your network .After that readd  ephone 10 then add the phone

to your netwrok .

did you do no create cnf then   create cnf?. I do not see button 1:10 under ephone 10 configuration , please clarrify

Hi Grzegorz niecka,

check with factory default setting.

1. check DHCP : enable ( If your network DHCP enabled)

2. Power off the phone

3. Power on and hold # key for few seconds.

4. Led's are blinking then press 123456789*0#

5. It will restart and upgrade with your tftp server settings

Have do it before - after hard reset telephone upgrades its software but at the end still get registering...

I have TAC webex.

Durning webex when we have shutdown/no shutdown telepgoney service error message appears:

%SKINNYSERVER-3-NOINIT: Can't initialize Skinny server

they suggest me to try on lower IOS version - I have tried and still I get this message.

Try delete the CTL file,

Settings > Security > Trust List > ITL File > **# (to unlock the settings) > Erase
