Hi,
We have plan´s to upgrade our CUCM to version 9. I know the phone model 7911 is EOS, but our VoIP infraestructure has a lot of this phones. In the documentation and the compatibility matrix of the CUCM v9, never metion the 7911 as a supported phone.
When the ATA-186 was EOS, in most of the newest versions of CUCM you could still configure it, despite it was EOS.
Could someone who has CUCM v9 tell me if I can configure under the device menu a 7911 device type?
Cheers

Hi there,
Yes, the 7911 is still fully supported in CUCM 9.x.
You can find the actual notes on 7911 firmware etc. in the 9.x "System
Release Notes";
Cheers!

Rob is correct (+5), Cisco never removes support from old phones on new CUCMs, in fact if you look you still see VIP phones and others that have long been gone and folks have never seen :-)
HTH,
Chris
