7911G firmware upgrading issue

Igor Rodriguez

Hello all,

I've got several 7911G IP phones that have firmware SCCP11.8-3-2S installed and I want to upgrade them to version SCCP11.9-2-3S, as it is our default firmware for 7911 phones.

I haven't been able to find the upgrade path for that model.

Does anyone know the steps I must take to get to version SCCP11.9-2-3S? Which intermediate firmware versions should I install?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best regards,

Igor

Hi Igor,

Here is the installation note for the 7911's You

would need to move to 8-3-3 as a first step then 8-5-2.

Firmware Upgrade Issues for SCCP

Note

For all SCCP firmware upgrades from firmware release versions earlier than 8.3(3) to Version 9.2(3) or

later, you must first upgrade your firmware to an intermediate Version (8.3(3) to 8.5(2)) and then upgrade

to 9.2(3).

Thanks for the information islam.kamal.

We are using CUCM.

Knowing the firmware versions I can download them and install with a standalone TFTP server or via CUCM.

Thanks.
