Hi
I have a 7921 phone registered with CUCM 8.6. This phone is not able to dial out (internal or external). On dialling any number for outgoing call, the message on screen is "Call in progress" and it stays that way, until I manually End Call.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening? Is this an issue with the phone itself?
Please advice.
Cheers
Binu

Hi
All phones in my office are using same PT/CSS, and only this phone is having this problem. It is registered as sccp.
Never used the DNA tool. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Ok,
Login to your CM.
Choose Cisco Unified CallManager serviceability from right corner.
hen "Tools---Dialed number analyzer"
Here you should fill both DNs and destination number.
Very interesting what will be at output.

Hi
Thanks for that. Please see below the DNA output. The calling number (7921 phone with issue) is 453, and the called number is 452.
Thanks

So,everything is ok with Dialing logic.
Tried you reset this phone?
And what happens when you are calling from 7911 to the same 7921?
From 452 to 453?

All sorts of resetting tried. Even deleted and recreated the phone and Directory Number.
Receiving calls on this phone is OK. No issues there. Its only on outgoing that there's a problem every single time.
Any ideas?

Please do the following:
1) Compare Firmware versions with working phones (7921)
2) Try To change Phone's place (Port on Switch)
3) Enter your phone Menu-Settings-Status-Status Messages.
Clear it before make a call.
Try to call some DN.
After call made, hang on and see what you have got there.
Good luck.
