7925 ip phone Can not recive calls

Hi people,

We are facing with the next problem, we have 3 Cisco ip wireless phones 7925 that can not receive calls, just can make calls to any place, but when      this ip phone receives a direct call (ip phone has a DID configurated) phones rings and when it answer the call, this, is droped, busy tone is inmediatly      reproduced.

We made a connectivity test, we made a continous ping from PC to wirelesss phone while calls was incoming to the phone, phone answered the call, and this, was droped. Is for that reason that we believe that connectivity is not the problem, also we can see that strength signal is excelent.

Any idea to find and solve the problem, or ath least to know where to find?... Thank you so much for your comments.

I would say start by replacing one of the wireless phone with a wired phone with identical configuration ( device pool ,region , mrgl ,partion, css). This will give an idea whether its wifi issue or configuration( resource) issue at cucm.

These three not able to receive any incoming calls (including internal calls) ? - yes - its likely to be partition/css issue.

If these are able to receive internal call but any outside incoming calls are creating problem - then you need to start looking from resource/mtp/codec at voicegw and cucm end.

Problem was not conectivity, problem was related to CUCM, we change the device pool, and wireless ip phone could answer calls, thanks for your observations mnsh.prasad.
