7937 External mics causing crackling sounds on line

Hey all,

I am having a issue with a 7937 we have in our network.  Its in a medium size conference room, and was hooked up with two external mics to provide maximum usage for conferences.  Problem was other users connected to conference reported heavy crackling sounds.  I checked out equipment and determined the mics were causing issue.  My question is, both mics are labeled B. Is there supposed to be a A and B mic?  or can you have two Bs with no issues?

Hi Joshua,

As per my experience so far, you can connect any mics to the conference station. Did you just try connecting one mic and check the voice quality.
