Hi all,
We are an AV company rather than comms, so would be grateful of some advice.
We have been asked to install a sound system into a small conference room. It will, at present be 2 x wireless lapel mics for the presenter(s). The room has a 7937 installed, which they would like to connect in to the system, ideally so that the sound goes both ways i.e. remote person can hear and be heard. Is this possible?? the phone appears to have a 2.5mm jack connection, but does it need anything other than a lead??
Sorry if this doesn't make sense - I'm the vision department
Thanks
Frances

The Polycom SoundStation 7000 (what Cisco OEMed and put custom firmware on) documentation explains your options:
Essentially you can use that 2.5mm jack or the more robust multi-interface module. There is no Cisco SKU for the module; you would need to get it from Polycom.

Thanks for that Jonathan.
The sound man trying to do this read somewhere on the internet that this didn't work as the Cisco version didn't have the appropriate software????
What version should it be please, or is this not true!
Frances
