Hi!
I have several phones 7940 and 7960 that loaded the SIP firmware after a reboot. There has not been done anything to try to convert the phones.
Did this happened to anyone else?

You did restart the CCM or the Phones?
Secondly, did you check the Job Scheduler status / log? May be was done as scheduled task and took effect only at a later date?

I did not reset the CCM and i do not have any job to do anything. The phone has been restarted, but to change it from SCCP to SIP, that would not happen just by restarting i guess. :(

Hi,
The phones can load SIP instead of SCCP in two cases:
1. If the phone is configured in CUCM DB as SIP phone. Check you phones list to see if the phones are configured in CUCM as SIP
2. If auto-registration is enabled and the default auto-registration protocol configured in service parameters is SIP.
Once you identify the root cause you can convert the phones back to SCCP using BAT

Hi, tkx for the reply, but once again none the those situations are verified. This phones where created has sccp, and the CCM is with auto registration off.
