7940 displaying mwi on even when there are no messages

Hi,

We got some 7940 phones over here running on Unity Express 1.1 2 and CCME. Even after when we checked all the voice messages the phones still display the message waiting indicator. I went through all the phones and there aren't any messages left in them. Please assist us in sorting this problem and let me know if you need more information regarding this issue.
