Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to answer a call via the Jabra bluetooth headset only.
We are looking at these headsets but it appears that the 7941 phone needs to be answered
then the call will arrive at the headset. Ideally we want to be able to just to answer calls directly
from the headset.

In the CUCM admin page, under the specific Directory Number, configure "Auto Answer" = to "Auto Answer With Headset"

We are also encountering the same situations. However you have to manually press the headset key on Cisco 7941 and then patch to BT.

Hi, Thanks for your replies. I will try Pierre's suggestion soon to see if that will do what we need.
In the mean time I have found an article on the Jabra webiste and this gives instructions on how to setup.
On the cisco side only 7942g, 7945g, 7962g, and 7965g and 7975g will work.
you can turn on the Wireless headset Hookswitch control in the device configuration of the
phone. The jabra article is called: connection of the GN935 to the Cisco 79xx ip for electronic call receipt.
