7942 IP Phone firmware compatibility between CUCM 8.5 and 10.5

Hello,

I will upgrade a CUCM 8.5 to 10.5,

actually IP Phones has firmware:SCCP42.9-1-1SR1S

and CUCM 10.5 has it: SCCP42.9-4-2SR1-1S

I know when IP Phones register in new CUCM and how it has newer firmware version IP Phones will download it, but if necesary do a rollback, the latest firmware version will be compatible with CUCM 8.5?

Go to the downloads page at cisco.com, look for that FW you're asking for, it will have a note right there that specifies CUCM compatibility.
