7945G firmware upgrading - new version shows between asterisks in status

I upgraded my 7945G phone's SCCP firmware from 8-3-4SR1 to 9-4-2-1SR3-1. According to Cisco, the firmware is supported by the version of my Call Manager.
After upgrading, the phone is registering fine in my Cal lManager 6.1.2 and everything seems to work fine.

In the phone's web status page I now see the following:

App Load ID jar45sccp.9-4-2ES26.sbn
Boot Load ID tnp45.8.3-1-21a.bin
Version *SCCP45.9-4-2SR3-1S*

Before the upgrade it was:

App Load ID jar45sccp.8-3-3-17.sbn
Boot Load ID tnp45.8.3-1-21a.bin
Version SCCP45.8-3-4SR1S

Why is the new version inside asterisks? Is there something I should be concerned about?

Is it expected that the Boot Load ID should remain unchanged after the upgrade?

Hi,

This is usual and no need to worry about that. As long as you see the SCCP45.9-4-2SR3-1S as the active load in the phone page in CUCM, the phone is using the required load.
