7960 convert to wireless

I have just bought a netgear ethernet-wireless bridge to convert one of my phones 7960 to wireless. I havent tested it but hoping it would work when i connect it all up . Can it done done?

Make sure you have a power brick!

...and have all the proper routing in place since you're not using a switchport with dual voice/data VLANs.

yes i have power for the phone, no need to POE. if my setup will work, the phone should get IP from dhcp server (i'm hoping this would work!!) and able to talk to call manager over the wireless!!

Or can i assign static settings on the phone such as IP and CCM IP?

The DHCP server should work but you can configure

static settings on the phone by pressing **# to unlock it.
