8300 - service module for 32 pstn lines

Kindly advise if SM-X-8FXS/12FXO in C8300-2N2S-6T has 12 FXO ports inbuilt or we need to order 3 NIM-4FXO with each service module. Hence to connect 32 PSTN, we would need two SM-X-8FXS/12FXO with 3*2=6 NIM-4FXO  to provide 24 FXO ports and then add 2 NIM-4FXO  in the 2 NM to provide 8 FXO thereby providing 24+8=32 FXO ports for PSTN?

Since you are upgrading new platform, why not ask Telco Vendor to Deliver E1 Lines rather OLD  FXO ports ?

The end user has asked for SIP line but it seems it will take very long time.

not sure costing wise, any way 24+8 can do the work, since you are blocking the module, in case any port go bad you do not have redundancy, if i were you  i go with 24+16 here for redundancy.
