We have a fleet of 8800 series phones (8811,8841,8845,8851 and 8865 phones) and are having a problem with Caller-ID showing the caller number on Shared lines.
Assistant has an 8851/8841 phone with a shared line of their attorneys' extension. If a call comes in from say, a wireless caller, the Caller-ID shows the name and number on the Attorneys' phone (8865), but the Shared Line on the assistant phone shows the name and "on <line text of shared line>" instead of the caller number.
If I call the assistants' extension, it shows the caller-d name and number like the attorney phone. Any way to change the behavior of the Caller-ID on the shared line to show the number? With most wireless calls coming in as "Wireless Number" as the name, it would help to have the number so the assistant knows to answer the phone or let the attorney get it.
