8831 on SRST only sending one dialed digit

hi guys

  we have 7821 adn 8831 register CUCM 10.5 , when we test SRST to switchover to VG2921,all phone a register normal ,but 8831 call failed , i debug voice ccsip message , i found i digit 3XXX but only sent first dialed on VG ,

Ver.txt  is the  show run/show version/show voice register global/show telephony-service/show voice register all /some information

8831.txt is the debug voice ccsig message when 8831 phone dialed

Any idea why it's only sending one digit

Configure the following:

config t

voice register pool 1

no digit collect kpml

Try making a test after this, It should work.

Rate the post accordingly.

I have seen this on 7841

I have seen this on 7841 phones using cme. If you are using full provisioning srst then enqble digit collect kpml command on voice register pool, apply cre prof and reset the phones

 no digit collect kpml

 dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-notify
 no vad

the problem solves ! thanks a lot ~~

by the way , i search KMPL information on google , that`s a Digit collection for SIP phone , it seem that KMPL has not any problem , and 78XX phone can dial normal , why 8831 not ,is 8831 no support KMPL ?

Hi,

There are two mechanism here:

1> Digit collection

2> Digit Relay

1>

When we apply the command " no digit collect kpml" we are making sure we stop digit collection.

Secondly asking it to stop collection of the digit one-by-one for KPML. As KPML is Out-of-band DTMF.

2> Relay comes into picture once the digits have been collected.
