8841 / 8851 bad contrast of small dot's in missed call list
we are using CUCM 11.5 Currently we are phasing out a bunch of older 7960/61/62 phones and replace them with newer 8841s.
The phones are set to run in Enhanced Line Mode (ELM) to have up to 9 BLFs and the ability to distinguish missed calls from a hunt group vs. missed calls on the phone's primary DN.
On older models (796X or the 9971 models) there was a small icon next to the missed call that came in via the hunt group. The newer 88XX phones (at least those with the color LCD) display a small round dot next to the missed call entry. However this dot is present for every type of missed call and only varies in color:
green: missed calls on the own DN
grey: missed calls via hunt grps
red: internal missed calls
In a normal desktop-use situation the display's viewing angle and the contrast makes it actually impossible to distinguish the grey dot from the green dot.
Is this a known issue? Are there alternate displays modes that I don't know of? I already have 4 guys complaining about that (otherwise the new phones are nice).
