8841 and SRST

Hi,

i'm trying to find information about the phone 8841 and the srst support.

If i check the release notes for the phone firmware, i see that the SRST version required is "SRST 8.0 (IOS load 15.1(1)T) and above" as you can read in the document http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cuipph/8841_8851_8861/firmware/10-2-1/english/ReleaseNotes/P881_BK_R7A58C22_00_rn-10_2_1-8841-8851-8861/P881_BK_R7A58C22_00_rn-10_2_1-8841-8851-8861_chapter_00.html

If i check the SRST 10.5 datasheet the phone 8841 is not mentioned in the phones supported http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/unified-communications/unified-survivable-remote-site-telephony/data_sheet_c78-678873.html

So is the phone 8841 supported for SRST or not? And if yes, in what SRST version is supported?

Hi.

As you have seen in your first link, they are supported from srst Version 8.0 as they are treated as SIP endpoints

 i'm wondering why Cisco have to confuse people by writing different information for the same matter.
