I was just wondering if anyone could help with a quick question. From an 8945 can you dial an addresses like conf@conf.com used for video conferencing? Or can you only dial phone numbers? Not had much work with them, just want to know the feature set, as being able to dial into a video conference using the name would be very useful
Not sure how much benefit they would be just on the LAN
cheers

You need CUCM 9.0 (with it's support for SIP URI dialing) to achieve this.

Hi Gordon
How do I use the keypad on 8945 to dial alpha numeric? Do I hold down the key ? Is there a menu option?
Thanks

Hi Matt
Did you find out how to dial using alpha numeric on the 8945? Did you get an answer?
