8961 Freeze

Hi,

When i want to scroll down after search on coporate directory, sometimes the IP Phone freeze on the search and  i can't navigate on my coporate directory search.

I have to wait or resend the search to call the user.

The IP Phone 8961 is in  firmware : sip8961.9-3-2-10.

And CUCM is in 9.1.

Have you got this issue? Have you resolved this issue?

Is this problem occurring only on 8961 phones or other phone models  as well in setup?

Are u using LDAP ?

The problem occurs on Cisco SIP 8961 only.

Yes, I have sync with LDAP for the coporate directory.

I was trying to look into the bugs and firmware loaded on 8961 related to your problem but could not find .The firmware as well is latest.

Even though there is a bug CSCub02735 for this model but does not relate anyway to your problem.

Sorry ...If anybody else has faced the similar issue,please help.

can u look into this bug and check for the URL even though other phones are working.

CSCty58000 - 8945 freezes when directories is pressed.

Symptom:


8945 freezes when directories button is pressed.

Conditions:


this issue happens when the phone load is 9.2.3 and the directories URL doesn't contain port number.

Workaround:


Please use http://X.X.X.X:8080/ccmip/xmldirectory.jsp for the directories URL instead of http://X.X.X.X/ccmip/xmldirectory.jsp

or downgrade firmware

Many Thanks for your prompt help Aman,

I upgrade the IP Phone binary to the last FW : cmterm-8961.9-3-2-10.cop.sgn, the issue seems to be resolved int he last Binary.

Just wait and see.
