Hi there, I would like to delete the CTL file on a 8961
Under : Administrator Settings / security Setup / Trust list / ITL File I see the File in questions but I don't have the erase buton.
If I try to do the code "**#" to unlock, I doesnt do anything at all..
I allready try Administrator Settings / reset settings / Security Settings or even All settings, but the CTL file is still there and I still have a Rejected status for this phone on the CUCM...
thanks

Hi Philippe
This is the only method to delete ITL files on your 8961 phone. There is no seperate delete ITL files options unlike 79XX series.
You can try factory reset your phone .
8961 SIP firmware : One reason for rejected status can be : Phone with un-configured DN.

Hi Philippe
I see that in the cnf.xml.sgn the mac address of the phone is the combinatation of upper and lower case letters whereas ideally it shoule be all upper case . Can you please send check the phone page on CUCM if the device name/mac address is in upper case letters, if not delete and re-add the phone with MAC address in upper case.
You may want to restart your TFTP service once.

I allready try to reset the phone with Administrator Settings / reset settings / all settings
because the usual way to to the factory reset is to hold the #, + "123456789*0#" but this is not working with my 8961
The phone allready have a DN configure..
So... still stock with that..
CUCM show:
Registration | Rejected |
IP Address | 192.168.18.100 |
Active Load ID | sip8961.9-2-1 |
Inactive Load ID | sip8961.9-1-1SR1 |
Download Status | Unknown |
And the status messages of the phone is :
trust list updated
updating trust list
Error verifying config info

Hi Philippe
Can you power cycle the phone and attach the detailed TFTP logs.
Is this happening for this particular phone or there are others as well ?

Philippe
Rather than using copy and paste , i would suggest please attach the files.
I see that CUCM version is 8.6.2.20000-2 , but the log is only error level . Can you please change it to detailed level.
Go to Cisco Servicability page Trace -->Trace Settings --> Select TFTP server --> CM Service --> Cisco TFTP.
Change the trace setting to detailed and then click apply.
Also are we just talking of ITL files or you are using CTL as well ?
I assume you are using this phone (ECC882B1D9E5) phone for testing.

The part that I cut and paste is just a partial part of the logs file that is attatch allready, you can see it on the first post and download it.
The logs was allready set as detailed before I took them dont worry.
regarding ITL / CTL, no idea it's the default cucm setting...
Yes we are talking about this specific phone, I took the logs when it reload.
thanks !
