According to this-

The Cisco unified video is supported on CUCM 7.1.3 or later. I installed a 9951 IP Phone with the camera but it does not
show the camera. Unfortunatly the docs for the phone seem to indicate the Camera is not supported. Has anyone worked
on this issue?

Thanks for the reply. I just upgraded to 7.1.3.32900-4 which I had thought was the most recent 7.1.3 release. I dont
see
listed in the readme though.

Hi Chris,
I'm having some issues with Video support on CUCM 7.1.3.
I had the same issue that you had and i had to upgrade the device pack for CUCM 7.1.3 recognize the Video Camera on 9951.
Now when i press Video Preview softkey on the phone, the video has just been showing me a black image.
Do you know if i must configure or enable any service to the Video Camera on 9951 work fine ?

After I had installed the device pack, I was able to goto CM Administration > Device > Phone, under Product Specific Configuration Layout I was able to enable Video Capabilities (which was not available prior to the device pack install).

The same thing happened to me, but after i enabled Video Capabilities (which was not available prior to the device pack install), the Video has just showed to me a black imagem when i pressed Video Preview softkey, it hasn't been working fine.
Has your camera worked fine after you enabled Video Capabilities ? Do you know if is necessary an especific switch model to support IP Phone 9951 with Video Camera ?
I've been using WS-C3560-48PS.

I dont know specifics about switch compatability.
Also check in the Devices > Phone to see if Cisco Camera and the USB ports are enabled.
On the 9951, press the gear button and select accessories and see if the camera is there and if so
check the details.
