Hi everyone,
I have a setup using two locations: Hub_None and LocationB. I'm using a CUCM 11.x cluster with up to date firmware on my HW conference bridge. The conference bridge is located in Hub_None.
Between LocationB to Hub_None, up to 48kbps of audio bandwidth is allowed. When I call from two phones in LocationB to two different phones in Hub_None simultaneously, all 48kbps are used up as expected. The calls are based on G.729.
However, if I were to call from LocationB to a phone in Hub_None, then ad-hoc from the conference bridge to several other phones in Hub_None, the bandwidth used between Hub_None and LocationB is that of a single G.729 call. Whether I am in a conference with 3 phones, or 6, it still counts as only a single 24kbps call between Hub_None and LocationB.
Any ideas why this is? Is there any chance that several Hub_None participants within the active conference call are some how sent over a single G.729 session to LocationB?
Thanks!
