Ad-hoc conferencing on CME 7 - 0 maximum sessions

Hi All

I have a 2811 router running cme 7 with 2x PVDM2-16. My version of code is 12.4-24T. One PVDM is installed on a NM-HD-2V and the other PVDM is installed on the router. When I enable dspfarm profile 1 conference for hardware ad-hoc conferencing I get 0-0 maximum sessions. I am able to configure transcoding and MTP maximum sessions. I have enabled dsp services dspfarm on the voice-cards. I have 6 BRI's installed. I have more than enough DSP's installed on the router - 32 to be exact.

When I try to set maximum sessions in the conference profile, it always displays 0 sessions. In other words I am unable to set maximum sessions. Any ideas?

Regards,

Marcus

You don't have 32 DSPs but 32 DSP resources on 2 DSPs.

Conferencing requires a dedicated DSP and cannot be shared

with xcode or voice.

Pl. use sh voice dsp groiup all to check dsp resource allocation

for both DSPs on the system.

Pretty sure that u don't have enough DSPs for your config.

FYI, pl. use dsp calc to figure out dsp resources needed depending

on tdm termination/codec/xcoders/conf /mtp:
