Problem is as follows: User on a registered phone on the network conferences a remote user on an outside line (cell phone or land line--both tested). The user on the cell phone/land line is disconnected exactly 30 minutes after the call is nailed up. This behavior can be reproduced 100% of the time by simply conferencing in any user on an outside line using ad-hoc conference. Is there a timer somewhere that is configurable?
Thanks!

Are you using ISDN or SIP?

If you have a firewall in between your CUBE or WAN connection I would verify that it is not resetting or re-establishing the connection. Sometimes the sessions are re-established and it can cause these kinds of issues.

We found a SIP timeout parameter in the ASA and adjusted it. Will monitor and report back results.

That didn't resolve the issue. I'm going to continue looking for layer 3 interruptions.

It is not due to layer 3.
It is due to SIP timouts, if you search you will find many threads with the same issue, some have found a solution, some don't.
