Adding a single testing number to BE6000s

Hi Experts,

I have a simple question which I cant seem to crack.

How do you add a single testing number to a BE6000s running CUCM 11.5 that already has a number block that was assigned at the installation. We are busy with moving the number block to a different service provider and want to be sure when we port the numbers over that we will not have downtime.

We are using a PRI connection.

Current installed number block is 011 *** 9300 to 9499

Testing number is 010 *** 3324

Where would one enter the number to be reachable from outside? Assuming all Partitions etc are working fine.

Best Regards,

Create a test phone with test DN and route the calls to B6k to ring the
phone. I am not sure if this is what you are looking for

Hi Mohammed,
I have the test phone setup already. The call does not reach the phone.
On IP communicator I have DN 3324 setup.
Do I have to setup something on the Gateway side as well to forward the call to CUCM?

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, your GW needs to be configured to route the calls to your CUCM, and your telco needs to provide you with the PRI or SIP trunk which will route the calls from the PSTN to your premises.
