Adding Owner User ID to IP Communicator's

Hi,

I have about 800 IP Communicator's in 7.1.5 that need to be updated

as the Owner User ID have not been added.

I have used BAT to export all phone details.

Then added updated the Owner User ID in that file.

Imported the file back into CUCM as per the Cisco document with:

Insert Phones All details and override the existing configuration.

The job runs but I get the error message:

Failure Details: MAC Address/Device Name Error Code Error Description

Any Ideas what would be causing the failure?

Dom,

It may have something to do with the description of the devices in your BAT file..Have you cross check to ensure that you havent exceeded the amount of text allowed in that field?
