recently replaced older UCM system with cisco 7800 series phones registering back to HQ and call manager. The site has an existing Algo 8301 paging adapter connected to a legacy amp and speaker system. I was able to configure a 3rd party user in CUCM and connect to the Algo and can now dial in and issue a page to the paging system speakers. However there is a need to page to phones as well in some area's without speakers. I tried Algo support and I keep getting back they do not have documentation on how to setup paging to the cisco phones onsite. I know it does support it.
Anyone have any experience doing this? I have enabled the multicast feature on the Algo unit and created a zone and paging extension but am unsure how to get it to communicate with the phones onsite.
