I'm working on CUCM 10.5, this is a remote site which uses MGCP gateway that registered correctly.
I' having an entyire site who's having the following problem: the IP phones are registered, once an IP phone does a reboot, its stucks on the CISCO logo screen, you can do nothing on the IP phone
Can you guys give me some tips to solve this issue.
Thank you, guys in advance.
Hi, looks that your phone are trying to upgrade the firmware which is failing.
Have you performed any recent upgrade which is triggering this?
Thanks for your feedback.
There was no recent firmware upgrade performed o the CUCM Cluster.
Another site have IP phones (ex 7937, 9971,..) with the same firmware version are able to boot normally.
May i know the model number of the phone. if it is happening for all model then there is issue with Voice Vlan or TFTP server IP address.
Please check whether working phone has valid Vlan and TFTP
Thank you for your support on this issue.
The root cause for this issue was: Power usage.
The client deployed many 9971 phones that can consume up to 30 watts, that's why the phones when they de a reboot, they're stuck on theb CISCO logo screen.
