We need to change the way we do forced on net. Currently we do the normal method of using translations however Im looking to use Alternative +e164 with local partition set to the internal one
User DN is 7771234
Alternative +1e64 is +12125551234 PT_INTERNAL
So the idea is that a user dials say 912125551234 or 95551234 ( users alternative +e164) and we force it on Force within the same cluster etc so Im looking to use translations so to translate the number to full + e614 which is the alternative +164
User dials one of the following
912125551234
95551234
Device CSS
Contains the normal PSTN partition PT_PSTN
I create specific TP's of
9.12125551234, 9.551234- full PSTN of the on site user
PT PSTN
TP CSS- contains both PT_INTERNAL and PT_PSTN
Then we predot and add + for 9.12125551234 or +1212 for 9.5551234 depending on the Translation
The result is that the TP CSS can either match on a generic PSTN route pattern such as +1212XXXXXXX OR +1! - PT_PSTN and the Alternative +1e64
So calls to 912125551234 or 95551234 stays On Net or if a caller dials any other number 912306663333 9011442072225555 the calls goes via the generic Route Pattern +!, +011! etc
Any issues with my thinking . logic ?
thanks

Its on the translation pattern " Use originator calling search space" This will ensure that the end users class of service is used for the life of the call, rather than depending on the CSS on the translation pattern to match the final called number

Your logic is perfectly fine. The only addition is you don't need additional CSS on the TP. Use the inherit CSS feature. This ensures that the class of service of the user is maintained and its not dependent on the TP.

Thanks for the reply, where is the inherit css feature you mentioned?
Thanks
