Any issue running IOS 12.4-24.T5 with CUCM 8.51(SU1)?

Dear Support Community,

We intending to upgrade our CUCM from 6.1 to 8.51(SU1). However due to time and cost concern we are not going to uprade our C2851 voice routers' IOS to the recommended version of 15.1 from 12.4-24.T5. Do you guys foresee any issue with this?

We have the same problem.

The customer want to upgrade to 8.5 without upgrading the IOS to 15.1

There is no document is cisco said that there is a problem 12.4 to be installed with CUCM 8.5 and even you can open a TAC but in case of any BUG or anything , you will be required to upgrade to 15.1

And they strongly recommends that you use 15.1 but as i said there is nothing wrong with 12.4

Not yet , we didn't recieve the CUCM 8.5 hardware yet , we only tested it on LAB.
