Hi,
Please clarify whether applying the NTP reference to date/time group in turn this date/time group is assigned to device pool is it going to require the phones to be restarted..
Thanks

Hi Mahmood,
the phones would restart .
Adding a Date/Time Group
After adding a new date/time group to the database, you can assign it to a device pool to configure the date and time information for that device pool.
You must reset devices to apply any changes that you make.

the same would happen for NTP as well.
further, other nodes also need to be restarted in cluster for changes to happen.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
Please confrim whether just adding the NTP reference without assigning to any date/time group will cause any reset of IP Phones.
Thanks

Hi.
As Aman stated(+5 P Aman) you don't need to reset anything if you just add a new ntp reference without assign it.
