Dang, foiled again! If you run the RTMT do you see that ATA trying to talk to your TFTP server? Double check that you have option 150 configured correctly for your DHCP scope and that you have a helper address, if needed based on your topology, on the correct vlan.

Hi,
Do you have any firewall in between...If yes please disable sip inspection.

The file not found line looks like you're trying to add the second port of the ATA 187
What's the MAC address of the ATA187 ?

Hi Chondo,
What is comparative that You is doing to say that the problem is occuring because I try add the second port? I didn´t understand. I am have only a one analog telephone plug in the line 1
Thanks,
Wilson

Usually, when adding Cisco ATA 186 or 187 the device has a MAC address on it that reflects port 1 on the ATA device.
The ATA devices can support two analog lines.
Port 1
Port 2
Port 1 has the mac address of AABBCCDDEEFF (which is shown on the sticker)
Port 2 has the mac address of BBCCDDEEFF01
Port 2 is assigned the MAC address by removing the first two and adding a 01 at the end.
So looking above in the thread, I saw the following File Not Found : CTLSEPC882B1FDC401.tlv
To me, the C882B1FDC401 is the MAC address for the second port.

Hi Chondo,
The Phone analog is connected in port 1, but, the MAC ADDRESS finished DC4, your suspect is correct. But, where is wrong? In the CUCM I put the MAC correct. As I can correct this problem?
Thanks,
Wilson

So if the MAC address is correct in CUCM and everything else looks good.
I'm suspecting the firmware on the ATA187 is either older or newer than the firmware file on CUCM
Go to Device and look at the device defaults.
Look and see what the default firmware is that's listed
You might have to manually upgrade the ATA187 to the current firmware or downgrade it.
Depending on which one is newer, and I'm suspecting the Device default is newer, then upgrading the ATA187 would be easy.

Hi Wilson,
I'm sorry that I can't help with the ATA187 issue as we don't run any
but I thought I would let you know how to attach files to these posts;
When posting, have a look right above the Green Spellcheck checkmark
and you will see use advanced editor - if you click on that the screen will change
and at the bottom you will see an "attach files" - browse area
Cheers!

We recently ran into this exact same issue. Here is what we did to fix it. We took a regular bell phone and plugged it into port 1 on the ATA and went through the steps to statically assign the ip address and gateway etc. Then set it back to dhcp the same way, then the stupid thing registered up. We had to do this with the last two ATA 187's we had recieved. We didnt think it was a firmware issue since we looked in the RTMT for any instance of that MAC address hitting the TFTP server and there werent any.
Good luck!
