Currently as it seems CUCM only allows you to configure at most a Maximum Number of Calls of 2 under the line configuration for an ATA-187. Is there any way to increase this number greated than 2?
You run into a problem if you want to configure the line for a fxs port on the ATA-187 to be a shared line. If it's a shared line with two phones (e.g. FXS port 1 and port 2 on the ATA) you lose call waiting and the ability to handle more than one call on a phone since you would want to configured the busy trigger as 1 for both. If it's a shared line with three phones (e.g. FXS port 1 and 2 and an IP phone) you can run into the situation that a port on the ATA would be unusable if the other port on the ATA is active along with the other shared line on the IP Phone is active.
